“From causing serious harms to children’s mental health to stoking genocide in Myanmar, from spreading Covid disinformation to providing an organizing platform for the January 6th insurrectionists, Mark Zuckerberg is either unwilling or unable to run his company in a way that protects the best interests of Meta’s shareholders and our communities.

“It’s clear Mr. Zuckerberg and his team cannot responsibly manage their existing ‘universe’, let alone a ‘metaverse.’ We cannot let him continue running Meta so recklessly.

“It’s long past time for reforms at Meta that will ensure transparency, accountability, and oversight. We are calling on investors to support our resolutions and insist on responsible management and governance at Meta. Anything less is damaging to society, and hurting the company.“
